Agricultural Crops

The company cultivates peanuts at East Owaynat and Nubaria. We have partnerships with farmers and the biggest agricultural corporations in Egypt. This allows us to offer the best quality so that the final product matches the international standards that are known to our clients abroad.

The crop is then transferred to our factories where we start the process of manufacturing and preparing it to be exported through the following steps:-

First, the Cleaning Phase:-  Where the crop is washed to remove any impurities and dust.

Second, the Sizing Phase:- It’s the phase where the sizes are determined based on each client’s requirements.

Third, the Sorting Phase:- The crops are then sorted manually by trained technical staff and automatically through the most advanced sorting machines (Sortex).

Fourth, the Packaging Phase:-  In this final step, the peanuts are loaded in bags that are designed especially for this purpose and adhere to the European Standards. They are then transported into the containers after the certificates and documents related to the shipment are issued and after being monitored by the concerned entities from the Egyptian government. Finally, we follow up on the shipment till it reaches our clients’ ports abroad.

Potato is regarded as one of the most important crops in many countries worldwide. Also, on the nutritional level it’s considered the first alternative to the cereal crops in solving the problem of nutrition.
Based on this local and international importance, ELSHAHD Company has taken up the responsibility of producing larger quantities of potatoes. We achieve that by renting thousands of acres in the desert then growing the potatoes through partnering with a number of farmers and the largest agricultural corporations in Egypt and Sudan. Accordingly, we produce the best categories and quality in accordance with the European Standards.
